About Avonmore Tertiary Institute

Investment Plan

An Investment plan is an agreed statement of direction and performance levels between each provider (in this case Avonmore Tertiary Institute ) and the TEC Tertiary Education Commission.

It aligns the direction, and performance with the Distinctive contribution expected of PTE’s, The Tertiary Education Strategy, (TES) and the Statement of Tertiary Education Priorities (STEP) and the strategic direction of Avonmore Tertiary Institute

The Investment Plan clearly defines the direction and broadly the performance levels to be achieved. The KPI section of the Investment Plan is not included, due to its strategic and confidential nature.

Note. The investment plan only covers the TEC funded components of the Avonmore Tertiary Institute operation. Operations outside of this investment plan include:

Corporate training
ITO funded training
STAR and Gateway training through Schools
International students.

Student Funding

Avonmore offer 2 types of courses that are fully government funded and managed by the Tertiary Education Commission. These are the Training Opportunities and Youth Training programmes. The aim of these programmes is to offer 'second chance' education to those who did not achieve well at school and those who are long-term unemployed, for whatever reason.
