I’m Blake Pigneri, working at Mercury IT in Wellington as a Level 1 Service Desk Technician.
As a Service Desk Technician at Mercury IT, each day beholds a wide variety of unique tasks. This can range from assisting hobbits with desktop issues and enquiries, or administering multiple unique domain networks in a hosted environment, even occasionally getting handsy inside a server or PC for repairs! The best part of my job is being able to use my technical knowledge “powers” to truly assist and “rescue” the ones who need it.
The skillset I gained while studying my Computer Network Engineering Diploma at Avonmore Tertiary Institute in 2014, has made me ready and able to work at Mercury IT as a vital part of the team.
I highly recommend Avonmore Tauranga to anyone with IT passions! The great learning environment provides preparation for its students in entering the IT industry.
