My name is Kelly Wang and I studied Hospitality and Business Management at Avonmore in 2009. I chose Avonmore because it is a reputable institution with exceptional tutors and the college is very welcoming to international students.

The learning environment at Avonmore was really good, and enough resources were provided to all students. I enjoyed working in the restaurant as it gave me the opportunity to practice customer service, barista and bar-tendering in a real professional environment.

I am now working at the Christchurch Casino as a VIP Hostess. The study and work experience I received whilst at Avonmore helped me secure the job at the Casino because I already had the exposure to working with people, and handling customer requests.
