Every effort is made to ensure our campus is conducive to learning. The campus is well staffed and the management, tutors and administration team are committed to providing excellent facilities and excellent customer service.

Resources are modern and appropriate and on going training ensures tutorial staff are competent and focused on the latest requirements of the information technology industry.

The environment that Avonmore creates enables students to learn in a friendly encouraging, atmosphere. Our campus is set well back from the road with ample parking. There is also an outdoor area appropriate for sport and outdoor activities.

Under cover walkways connect the campus facilities. Our computer training rooms are modern and well equipped.

Each student has their own work station, and each class has its own data projector. We are a fully licensed Prometric testing centre, which means when it comes time to sit A+, Network+, MCP or any other exam offered by Prometric, you can sit them right here without the inconvenience of travelling away.

The campus has a separate staff student cafeteria with tea, coffee and microwave facilities with a range of snack food and drinks for sale. There is an outside area fitted with tables and chairs, where smoking is permitted and ashtrays provided.

Avonmore Tertiary Institute is situated just 5 minutes from downtown Whangarei. (The Kensington Campus has a dairy and bakery nearby and it is just a short walk to the local shopping centre.) The Venue provides everything required to make learning a success.
