Introduction to I.T Programme

Avonmore’s Introduction to IT programme are designed to be practical and informal and most assessment is by observation. Classes are handled with clear directions, explicit instructions and simple tasks. Learners on the IT programme are exposed to a range of practical activities and assessments – both formative and summative.

The students will receive a Certificate of Achievement for each module they complete, along with the credit value of each unit. Each IT programme will begin at 9:00am and finishes at 2:00pm and is broken up with two 15 minute breaks and 30 minutes for lunch. The Avonmore Introduction to IT programme provides you with a ‘taste’ of the technical and support aspect of the IT industry.

Further tertiary training in this area is offered by Avonmore’s Diploma at Level 5 on the NQF.
